EMT Scholarship
The Southwest Camden County Fire Protection District is offering 1- $500.00 scholarship to attend the Emergency Medical Technician course hosted by Southwest Fire.
As an Emergency Medical Technician you will enjoy a rewarding career responding to calls for emergency medical service with flexible scheduling. Most services are 24-48 hour shifts, working 2-3 shifts a week. This career path can open other opportunities in the healthcare field. The current starting wage is $57,200 for an EMT without experience.
The scholarship is open to all seniors who have a desire to work in the healthcare field from the Macks Creek School District.
The course must be completed within 2 years of award of scholarship.
The course is 19 Weeks long 1 day a week. Approximately 200 hours of coursework, skills, and clinical time.
